About This Position
Functioning within the Health System’s mission, values, objectives, policies and procedures, the Vice President & Chief Operating Officer provides leadership, strategic direction and administrative oversight of Lima Memorial Health System operations, ensuring clinical, operational and support services align with strategic goals, quality standards and financial performance. The role partners closely with the President/CEO and executive team to drive growth, operational excellence and continuous improvement across the organization. May assume administrative responsibility for the health system in the absence of the Chief Executive Officer.
Education: MHA/MBA or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Licensure/Certification: None required. Fellow of American College of Healthcare Executives preferred.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of current experience as an executive in Hospital and/or Health System with multi-function accountability is required.
