Senior Financial Analyst at Sintx Technologies Inc – Salt Lake City, Utah

Join an exciting, NASDAQ-listed biotechnology company as a Senior Financial Analyst, helping shape and scale the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. In this role, you’ll go beyond maintaining existing processes—you’ll design, implement, and improve financial systems and reporting frameworks that enable smarter, faster decisions across the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles across the organization.

• Build and enhance financial models, dashboards, and performance metrics to drive strategic insight.

• Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to evaluate investments, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.

• Develop and implement scalable processes, tools, and reporting automation to strengthen FP&A infrastructure.

• Analyze costs of materials, labor, overheads and other direct or indirect costs associated with inventory.

• Assist in the annual setting of inventory standard costs, including ongoing periodic analysis.

• Support month-end close, variance analysis, and quarterly reporting in a public-company environment.

• Provide ad-hoc analysis and recommendations to senior management to guide key business decisions.

• Support other administrative duties related to accounting, and corporate headcount, including payroll and onboarding.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CPA a plus).

• 3-5 years of FP&A or corporate finance experience; biotechnology or life sciences background preferred.

• Strong modeling, analytical, and systems-building skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across teams.
