DIRECTOR OF FINANCE at Burnett Medical Center Inc – Grantsburg, Wisconsin

Burnett Medical Center is seeking a full-time Director of Finance.

HOURS: Full-time, Monday through Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides key leadership for the financial health, performance, and strategic financial direction of Burnett Medical Center. This individual partners closely with executive leadership, department leaders, and clinical teams to drive financial sustainability, optimize reimbursement, and support data-driven decision-making.

This role requires a strong blend of financial analysis, operational understanding, and healthcare reimbursement expertise, with an emphasis on benchmarking, performance improvement, and rural healthcare dynamics.

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management.

Minimum of 5-7 years direct relevant experience in healthcare administration and management.

Critical Access Hospital experience preferred.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and electronic medical records as well as other software applications.
