Rehab Technician at St. Claire Regional Medical Center – Morehead, Kentucky

The Rehab Technician is responsible for providing and administering specific therapeutic treatments under the direct supervision of licensed staff in the Rehabilitation Services and Cardiac Rehabilitation departments.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Administers specific treatment/modalities under the direct supervision of the licensed staff and exercise physiologist per professional standards of care and practice based on the patient’s disability, age, and psychosocial needs.
• Performs clerical/receptionist duties as assigned.
• Passes required competencies within 3 months of hire.
• Exhibits professional communication skills.
• Provides patient instruction based on the patient’s disability, age, and psychosocial needs.

Education:
High school graduate or equivalent required. Vocational training preferred.

Experience:
Previous medical office experience preferred.
