About This Position
The Rehab Technician is responsible for providing and administering specific therapeutic treatments under the direct supervision of licensed staff in the Rehabilitation Services and Cardiac Rehabilitation departments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Administers specific treatment/modalities under the direct supervision of the licensed staff and exercise physiologist per professional standards of care and practice based on the patient’s disability, age, and psychosocial needs.
- Performs clerical/receptionist duties as assigned.
- Passes required competencies within 3 months of hire.
- Exhibits professional communication skills.
- Provides patient instruction based on the patient’s disability, age, and psychosocial needs.
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent required. Vocational training preferred.
Experience:
Previous medical office experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
None
