About This Position
Key Works provides comprehensive substance use disorder treatment and work skills training to help low-income, high-risk patients achieve sustained recovery and rebuild their lives. Shifts: Day Friday-Monday 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Swing Sunday-Thursday 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Swing Friday-Monday 2:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.
Position Overview:
Provides direct care and support to residents in Key Works Long-Term Substance Use Disorder Treatment program. Ensures safety, supports treatment compliance, and assists with daily living activities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform regular safety checks and facility rounds.
- Assist with housekeeping and ensure cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication logs.
- Complete all mandatory training, as scheduled and required to advance to Level 2.
- Ensure property and resident safety through making rounds of all resident rooms throughout all shifts.
- Read and understand Staff Handbook, and Resident Handbooks for both Long Term Recovery and Recovery House.
- Model appropriate behavior, communication and dress code according to Key Recovery policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of substance use disorders.
- CPR/First Aid certification, within 30 days of hiring.
- Valid WA driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
Work Environment:
- Residential treatment facility with 24/7 operations.
- May require evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Exposure to individuals in various stages of recovery and withdrawal.
