The Role:

As an Ophthalmic Technician at Panorama Eyecare, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver the best eyecare. Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient counseling and education as needed.
  • Awareness of patient flow issues and ability to maintain efficient clinical flow.
  • Updates daily schedule by assessing no-shows and add-ins.
  • Scribes in a rotational pattern.
  • Answers and returns phone calls and writes scripts as requested by physicians and other departments.
  • Stocks and cleans clinic as needed.
  • Facilitates patient experience by assisting physicians in overall patient care.
  • Works within the confines of the team by assisting other departments with answers to questions, patient triage, etc.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor, including dress and work conversation.
  • Understands and solves patient complaints.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced medical office and in electronic health record preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to raise hands and arms to shoulder level without restriction, pain, or discomfort.
  • Ability to perform extended use of phones and computer terminals, as well as diagnostic equipment without pain or discomfort.

Additional Job Details:

  • Works at the Eye Center of Northern Colorado
  • This position requires travel between clinic locations, as well as occasional travel out of state to Wyoming by car. Candidates must have reliable transportation and be comfortable commuting.
  • This is a Full-Time Position.
  • Compensation for this role will be $22.89-$33.00 hour based on experience.
