Your Purpose as a Title Clerk:

  • Prepare all new and used motor vehicle title paperwork for the state in which they will be titled
  • Submit legal title transfer work to the WI Department of Motor Vehicles using the online system through DLRdmv.com
  • Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications
  • Follow up with various lenders on the title status of recently paid off vehicles/trade ins
  • Verify the accuracy of all paperwork and ensure that all information is complete
  • Maintains an out of state title list, processes out of state inspections and flips trade in titles to the dealer’s name
  • Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles
  • Stays abreast of title regulations. Attends seminars held by local licensing bureaus and any available training on title regulations
  • Conducts periodic training sessions for dealership personnel regarding title regulations and procedures
  • Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area
  • Other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle
  • Previous automotive title experience preferred

  • Competitive Pay: $23.00/hr - $27.00/hr
  • Flexible Work Schedule: 7:00am - 3:00pm or 8:00am - 4:00pm; Monday - Friday
