Roll-Off Dumpster Driver at Honor Services – Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver and pick up roll-off dumpsters in residential and commercial settings
2. Safely position dumpsters in tight or confined spaces (driveways, near structures, etc.)
3. Operate cable hoist systems to load and unload dumpsters while maintaining full control of the container
4. Assess each jobsite before placement to avoid damage to property, vehicles, or surroundings
5. Exit the truck regularly to inspect placement, hook/unhook cables, and manage loads
6. Handle situations involving overloaded dumpsters or difficult terrain
7. Maintain awareness and control during all phases of operation

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able-bodied and comfortable working outside of the truck
2. Ability to climb, lift, and maneuver around dumpsters as needed
3. Willingness to perform hands-on tasks throughout the day

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

1. Roll-off dumpster experience
2. Dump truck or CDL driving experience
3. Heavy equipment operation experience
4. Over-the-road or local driving experience

Compensation & Benefits:

1. Starting pay: $22/hour
2. Guaranteed 40 hours per week
3. Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours
4. Quarterly bonuses based on performance
5. Opportunity for pay increases over time
6. No benefits currently offered

Work Area:

1. Local routes only (Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, Gonzales, Plaquemine, and surrounding areas)
2. No long-haul or overnight travel required

3. Clean or acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

This role requires more than basic driving ability. Candidates must be comfortable operating equipment, thinking critically in the field, and working hands-on throughout the day. Training will be provided for the right candidate, but reliability, attitude, and willingness to learn are critical for success.
