Product Actualization Analyst
6-month contract: Opportunity for extensions
Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote. Can change the work from home day as needed.
Schedule: M-F flexible hours (7-4, 7:30-4:30, 8-5, 8:30-5:30) can adjust as needed


**Online Excel testing required with submission – V-lookup/X-loopup, H-lookup, creating pivot tables, and creating graphs from pivot tables.

Intake Notes:
• This position prepares reports on product purchases/sales. Basic terms: How much gas was bought and sold, at what price, and to whom?
• The ideal person for this group will be a fast and eager learner, self-motivated, analytical thinker, and looking for growth in their career. This manager started as a contractor, transitioned to FTE, then into a leadership role.
• Willing to train on SAP, but not Excel. Excel is critical in this role!
• Open to someone who is a recent college graduate with an accounting or finance degree.
• Oil and gas experience is helpful, but not a deal breaker.

Job Description:
The Product Actualization Analyst supports our business units with monthly closing activities, including recording actual results and accruals, and ensuring the accuracy of accounting transactions. This role supports Commercial operations and requires a high level of interaction with Commercial product schedulers, peers in Billing, Refinery Analysts, Inventory & Exchange Analysts, the Master Data Group, and the Commercial Integration Group.
The ideal candidate is results-oriented, possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities May Include:
• Recording and initiating product purchases and sales (both third-party and intercompany) in SAP S4 using pipeline tickets and custody transfer documentation.
• Managing and monitoring service level agreements (SLAs) with offshore teams to ensure timely and accurate data processing.
• Performing monthly closing activities, including booking accruals and actuals, and verifying accuracy of entries.
• Applying detailed expertise in SAP S4 and related systems to support the end-to-end deal-to-dollar process.
• Resolving volume discrepancies related to inventory reconciliation and invoice processing.
• Assisting the Supervisor with audit-related activities, including documentation gathering and data validation.
• Collaborating with Schedulers and Traders to resolve issues and maintain consistency in product actualization.
• Setting and managing goals to meet daily and monthly deadlines defined by management.
• Supporting team projects and initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications:
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Bachelors degree
• Advanced Excel Skills: V-lookup (X-lookup), creating pivot tables, creating graphs from pivot tables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Eagerness to learn new concepts
• Self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset
• Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to lead others without direct authority
• Ability to build relationships and act as a resource for internal and external business partners

Preferred Qualifications:
• Accounting or finance degree
• Proficient in SAP/SAP S4 – nice to have, but can be trained on SAP
• Experience the Oil & Gas Industry
