Fats Analysis at Virginia Poultry Growers Cooperative, Inc – Hinton, Virginia

POSITION SUMMARY

This position ensures compliance of fat content of product.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assists in setting up the MST room-gets all paperwork ready for start up

Performs and documents fats analysis tests to ensure compliance

Fax paperwork to customers showing fat content

Help with other duties in MST as needed

Perform salt tests and any other additional tests required to meet customer specifications

Additional duties as assigned Commit to enhance the reputation of our products and maintain consumer confidence in our products through the development and implementation of written safety, legal, and quality food safety systems, programs and practices.

Regular and punctual employee presence is required for this job.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to read and write English for paperwork completion.

Must be able to work without close supervision.

Must maintain an excellent attendance record

Must follow all safety procedures and requirements

Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Must have strong documentation skills with legible handwriting

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred.
