About This Position

Description:

Ohio ENT & Allergy Physicians is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will manage the daily operations of the accounting department within a private specialty physician practice. Ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective internal controls. Works collaboratively with Revenue Cycle, Human Resources, Operations, and Executive Leadership to support organizational financial performance. This role will be responsible for development of accounting staff, performance management, and fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Work Environmental: Medical office environment. Mondays-Fridays | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Requirements:

Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 5-7 years progressive accounting experience, preferably in healthcare, physician practice, or professional services environment.

• Supervisory or team lead experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.

• Experience with financial reporting and general ledger management required.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required including ability to create spreadsheets, formulas, and financial models.

• Experience with accounting software and practice management systems preferred (NextGen).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, leadership, and staff.

• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
