The Opportunity
We are hiring a Seasonal Native Seed Fulfillment Technician to support warehouse and seed mixing operations at our Foley, MN location. Seasonal positions typically begin in April and run through September.
Start and end dates are flexible based on availability. Hours will vary depending on fulfillment needs, typically ranging from 24–40 hours per week.
This is a hands-on role focused on accurately mixing, packaging, and preparing native seed orders, as well as inventory handling, order fulfillment, and general warehouse support.
Schedules are generally weekday-based (8:00am-4:30pm), with occasional extended hours or weekend work during peak periods.
What You Will Do
- Accurately weigh and mix native grass and wildflower seed to fill orders, either by hand or with mixing machinery.
- Assist with packaging and shipping of seed orders, ensuring correct packaging for each order type.
- Help receive, label, and organize inbound seed inventory.
- Maintain product integrity by following standardized processes and ensuring the right order goes to the right customer on time.
- Keep the fulfillment and warehouse areas clean, orderly, and contamination-free.
- Verify proper seed storage conditions, including temperature, humidity, and pest control.
- Perform routine maintenance on warehouse tools and equipment, including forklifts, mixing machines, and bag stitchers.
- Support occasional work in other areas of the Products division, such as field production.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
- Experience in warehouse, fulfillment, or production environments preferred.
- Able to move and lift up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to work in a seed warehouse environment with frequent exposure to fine seed dust created during mixing, packaging, and seed processing operations. Appropriate PPE is provided.
- Familiarity with or ability to learn native seed mixing processes and equipment.
- Able to learn and operate pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
The pay range for this role is:
20 - 20 USD per hour(G1)
