| Physical Requirements | The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to and over 25lbs; occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 15lbs; sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time while performing repetitive motions (such as typing); standing for extended periods of time, sometimes greater than 5 hours per day; and traversing several miles across and on campus for meetings and work on a regular basis. |

| Job Summary | The Drug Shortage Coordinator leads drug shortage preparedness and response for the Enterprise, ensuring a safe and reliable medication supply across acute and ambulatory settings. This role monitors national shortages, develops mitigation strategies, and coordinates implementation of shortage mitigation plans. The Coordinator serves as the primary resource for shortage communication and collaborates with all stakeholders to optimize inventory utilization, procurement, and shortage response. This position leads shortage governance efforts, including chairing the Drug Shortage Task Force, facilitates routine shortage meetings, and develops and presents related reports to leadership and stakeholders. |
| Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills; strong data analytic skills; knowledge of inpatient drug distribution; knowledge of pharmacy supply chain and medication safety; knowledge of pharmacy and healthcare related regulations and standards; Microsoft Office experience. |

| Preferred Education/Experience | Pharm D preferred; PGY1 and/or PGY2 Residency in Med Safety, Administration, or equivalent professional experience. |
