Armed Security Officer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Status: Full-Time

MUST HAVE CURRENT VALID ACT 235 CERTIFICATION

Valentis Group Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of clients and their property.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents and activities during each shift.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must possess a valid PA ACT 235 certification.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Mandatory training is required in Pittsburgh, PA.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb stairs and walk throughout the community
