Role Overview
Working closely with manufacturing and engineering teams, the Facility Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all facility and equipment maintenance activities across the site. This role ensures high equipment uptime, safe and reliable facility operations, and effective execution of maintenance and capital projects.
The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical aptitude, proven leadership in maintenance organizations, and the ability to manage both day-to-day operations and strategic facility initiatives.
What You’ll Do...
- Lead and manage all facility and equipment maintenance programs, including planned and unplanned repairs for CNC, additive, and machining equipment
- Own maintenance performance metrics, including uptime, preventive maintenance compliance, MTTR/MTBF, and downtime reduction initiatives
- Oversee and develop maintenance technicians and/or contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of work
- Manage and optimize CMMS / facility ticketing systems, including prioritization, resource allocation, and reporting of KPIs
- Act as site lead for facility expansions and modifications, including vendor/contractor management, design reviews, and space planning
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and internal policies across all facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis (RCCA), audits, and reliability-centered maintenance practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and quality teams to minimize downtime and support production goals
- Develop and manage budgets related to maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements
You have...
- 7+ years of experience leading facility and/or equipment maintenance programs in a manufacturing environment
- Experience supporting CNC machining and/or additive manufacturing equipment (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience with CMMS systems and maintenance planning
- Strong background in facility design, renovations, or construction project management
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage external vendors/contractors
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate in a matrixed organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance

- CFM, FMP, or LEED accreditation
- HVAC, electrical, or other relevant technical certifications
- Lean / Six Sigma training with application to maintenance or reliability
