General Responsibilities/Job Summary The role involves assisting in the evisceration of ducks while ensuring safety and hygiene compliance. Responsibilities include operating equipment, collaborating with team members, and following quality control guidelines. General labor tasks such as cleaning and packaging may also be required. Candidates should be physically capable, work well in a team, and be open to learning in a fast-paced environment.

- Cut, trim, skin, sort, and remove viscera of slaughtered Duck to separate edible portions from offal.
- Tend to assembly lines, performing a few of the many cuts needed to process a carcass.
- Hang birds
- Willing to work and cover all duties concerning Culver Duck Farms
- Understand and follow plant GMP's
- Follow all plant rules
- Understand our reconditioning procedures
- Able to work with scales and minimal math
- Be able to correctly label salvage parts, gizzards, and livers
- Ability to work with Knife, scissors an air tool
- Know how to correctly follow Standard Operating Procedures
- Warm weather conditions (70®F - 90®F)
- Follow proper hygiene practices
- Know and understand our animal welfare policy
- Know Culver Ducks emergency evacuation procedure
- Properly report any injuries or illnesses while working
