Dishwasher/ Utility Worker: Full-Time at Foxdale Village – State College, Pennsylvania

Foxdale Village includes 57 apartments and 148 cottages and offers a range of health services with 46 beds in skilled nursing for short and long-term care, two memory care neighborhoods, and 55 beds in personal care, all with private accommodations. We are seeking a full-time Dishwasher/Utility Worker to join our dedicated Dining Department.

We are currently hiring for a Full-Time position and expected work 40 hours per week (12pm-830pm) and every other weekend/holiday.

The position of Dishwasher/Utility Worker is responsible to perform the essential job duties of:

• Operate the dish machine, including cleaning, de-liming, and properly maintaining.
• Trash removal.
• Complete sanitation logs and reports any deficiencies to the head cook or management.
• Record temperatures of wash and rinse cycles of the dish machine during each meal.
• Wash pots, pans and utensils as needed.
• Pull food carts and clean inside and out, as necessary.
• Complete additional tasks assigned by the head cook or management team.

• Previous experience operating a dish machine or similar work experience is preferred
• This position must be able to follow both written and oral directions and effectively communicate in English with staff and residents
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop and lift regularly in order to complete job duties
• Able to work holidays and weekends as part of a rotating work schedule
• Maintain a reliable and dependable attendance profile
