Quality Systems Coordinator at F&S PRODUCE WEST LLC – Riverside, California

The Quality Systems Coordinator administers and supports the Quality Management System (QMS), including document control, data analysis, compliance reporting, and coordination of quality and food safety programs to assure alignment with company, customer and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains the documents supporting the Quality Management System for the F&S West facilities.
• Maintains the electronic file management system of department documents, data, and records.
• Reviews and trends Quality and Food Safety data.
• Develops and/or publishes varies reports.
• Completes questionnaires, and other customer requests related to food safety and quality.
• Responds to customer and consumer inquiries related to product quality, food safety, labeling, and product performance in a professional and timely manner.
• Operates with a sense of urgency when needed with a strong ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Works in coordination with the other Quality Systems Coordinator located at the East location.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Associate degree in a science-related field and/or equivalent work experience in food safety
• GFSI requirements knowledge preferred
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Analytical skills
• Strong Excel, Word, and formatting skills
• Organization skills
• Self Motivated
