About the Role:

The Forensic Interviewer conducts forensic interviews of victims of child sexual abuse and sexual assault, as well as other crimes and exposure to violence. They also provide, on a rotating, on-call basis, after hours/urgent/emergency forensic interview services. They will also conduct forensic interview training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interview victims and witnesses of sexual abuse/sexual assault and their non-offending caretakers and family members on site at Center for Hope.
• Complete administrative tasks as it relates to the Forensic Interview Program.
• Testify if criminal and family court proceedings.
• Provide education, community outreach and preventative services to community members as needed/required.

Requirements:

• Education: Master of Social Work
• Licensure: State of Maryland LCSW, LCPC or Psychology license
• Experience: Minimum one year of social work experience, specifically in the realm of sexual abuse/assault/forensic experience

Grant supports up to $74K, dependent on experience and internal equity
