The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing all bar operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of beverage quality, managing staff performance, and maximizing profitability. This role is a working bartender/bar manager position and involves supervising daily operations, managing inventory, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations.

Starting salary $50,000

Key Responsibilities:

Operations ManagementOversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures.Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality beverages and excellent customer experiences.Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the bar area.Staff ManagementRecruit, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders and barbacks.Foster a positive and professional work environment.Monitor staff performance and provide coaching or corrective action as needed.Inventory & Cost ControlManage ordering, receiving, and storage of beverages and supplies.Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records.Control costs by minimizing waste and optimizing portion control.Customer Service & EngagementHandle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.Promote a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.Develop creative drink menus and promotional events to drive sales.Financial ManagementMonitor sales performance and meet revenue targets.Prepare reports on sales, labor costs, and inventory usage.Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.Compliance & SafetyEnsure compliance with all liquor licensing laws and health & safety regulations.Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.Maintain certifications and ensure staff are trained in responsible alcohol service. Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Bar Manager, Head Bartender, or similar role.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.In-depth knowledge of mixology, beverage trends, and bar operations.Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in POS systems and basic financial reporting.Relevant certifications (e.g., Responsible Service of Alcohol).

Typical Working Conditions:
