Production Planner
Location: This position is on site, Monday through Friday, Lake Park, Florida
Hours are 8:30 to 5:00 EST or your applicable time zone.

Job Description:
Meta Power Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Production Planner to oversee scheduling and execution of production orders at multiple facilities manufacturing Switchboards, Transformers, and Containerized products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, information system savy and a proven track record supporting on-time delivery and quality objectives.

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for projects involving Switchboard, Transformer, and Containerized Switchboard products.
• Project Scheduling: Coordinate and create schedules(MS Project) with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement/Logistics, Shipping/Receiving, and QC for all SWB projects.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and clients.
• Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support during the design, development, and installation phases of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress and quality, implementing necessary adjustments and improvements as needed.
• Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and reporting on financial performance to senior management.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, schedules, and meeting notes, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of project status.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and improve project delivery processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Production Planner in the electrical industry, specifically with Switchboards, Transformers, and Containerized Switchboard products.
- Experience using Salesforce or other scheduling SW to create complete schedules.
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles and project management methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in material and inventory management.
- Ability to travel as needed for project site visits and client meetings.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and work in an office environment.
Physical stamina to work long hours when necessary to meet project deadlines.
