Welder/Fitter - 1st & 2nd Shift at QuikCut LLC – Fort Wayne, Indiana

We're GROWING! QuikCut, LLC is seeking experienced Welder/Fitters for our Fort Wayne and Columbia City locations. Our welders are responsible for fitting, welding, and assembling metal components in accordance with detailed blueprints and project specifications. This position requires precision craftsmanship, strong blueprint reading skill, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform welding operations using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.).
• Fit and assemble metal components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain and repair welding equipment as needed.

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, kneel throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50# unassisted
