Job Summary:
Talantage, LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across residential properties for the housing authority. The ideal candidate will have experience in general maintenance, demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, and take initiative in completing assigned duties efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repair work, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks
• Install and repair ceiling fans and other fixtures
• Conduct basic plumbing repairs, including replacing toilets, sink faucets, and unclogging drains
• Diagnose and resolve common maintenance issues in residential units
• Perform flooring work, including stripping and waxing floors
• Install various flooring materials as needed
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable standards
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant maintenance experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and general repair techniques
• Experience with flooring installation and floor care (strip and wax) preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Dependable, proactive, and willing to learn new skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
