Favoured Hospice is seeking a Compassionate Hospice Administrator / Executive Director to lead our growing hospice program in Dayton, MN.

This is a leadership opportunity for an experienced healthcare professional who is passionate about end-of-life care, hospice operations, and team leadership.

At Favoured Hospice, we focus on compassion, communication, and presence, bringing together patients, families, and caregivers during the most important moments of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee hospice operations, clinical services, and administrative functions
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs), state regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Lead interdisciplinary team: RN Case Managers, Hospice Aides (CNA), Social Workers, Chaplains, Volunteers
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance management
  • Drive QAPI (Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement) programs
  • Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and census growth
  • Build relationships with hospitals, assisted living facilities, SNFs, and referral sources
  • Ensure timely hospice admissions (goal: within 4 hours)
  • Maintain high standards of patient-centered, compassionate care

Hospice administrators are responsible for overseeing operations, staff, compliance, and quality care delivery in hospice settings.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field
  • Minimum 2–5 years healthcare leadership experience (hospice, home health, or palliative care preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Hospice regulations & compliance
    • Medicare & reimbursement
    • Clinical operations
  • Proven experience in team leadership, operations management, and program growth
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Compassionate, patient-focused mindset
Schedule
  • Monday – Friday
  • Daytime leadership role
  • Occasional on-call Administrator responsibilities

Requirements: Core Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of:
