FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Full Time, Hourly (Salary Up to $21/hour)

As the Supervisor - Fulfillment Operations, you will support the Fulfillment Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of daily operations within our fulfillment center. Your role will be crucial in executing the fulfillment process, maintaining inventory accuracy, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence. You will be a hands-on leader, responsible for supervising a team of fulfillment teammates and working closely with cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational efficiency and team leadership.

• Assist the Fulfillment Manager in leading and mentoring a team of fulfillment teammates to achieve productivity, quality, and safety goals.
• Train and develop team members to ensure they understand and adhere to operational procedures.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and individual growth.

• Oversee daily order fulfillment activities, including order picking, packing, and shipping to meet delivery deadlines.
• Ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently, in line with customer expectations and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Monitor workflow and adjust staffing as needed to ensure operational efficiency, escalating issues to the Fulfillment Manager when necessary.
• Support the Fulfillment Manager in times of vacation or absence to ensure normal operations continue smoothly, which includes opening and closing the facility as well as securing the building and setting the alarm

• Work with the Fulfillment Manager and inventory team to maintain accurate stock levels and execute replenishment processes.
• Support periodic inventory counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and data integrity.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within fulfillment operations and work with the Fulfillment Manager to implement solutions.
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity and reduce costs, supporting a continuous improvement mindset.

• Enforce health and safety standards, ensuring that the team adheres to safety regulations and best practices.
• Conduct regular safety audits and participate in training sessions to promote a strong safety culture.

• Support the use of the warehouse management system (WMS), including ShipHero, to manage daily operations and troubleshoot any system-related issues.
• Assist in training team members on the effective use of technology tools.

• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational efficiency and team performance.
• Provide feedback and data to the Fulfillment Manager to drive performance improvements and meet company goals.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in fulfillment or warehouse operations, preferably in e-commerce or consumer goods industries.
• Experience in a supervisory or team lead role with a track record of driving results and leading a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (ShipHero WMS experience is a plus).
• Problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
• A detail-oriented mindset, with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices within a warehouse setting.
