Youth Advocate - Per Diem (overnights) - Plymouth Emergency Residence at Bay State Community Services Inc – Plymouth, Massachusetts

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Per Diem Overnight Youth Advocates to provide overnight support and supervision to youth in our residential programs. This role ensures a safe, structured, and supportive environment while helping youth build life skills and work toward their goals.

What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference in the Lives of Teens:

• Driving is required
• Provide overnight supervision and crisis support to youth.
• Maintain safety and security within the program.
• Document overnight observations and incidents accurately.
• Serve as a positive role model, offering guidance and support.
• Collaborate with program staff to ensure continuity of care.
• On the rare occasion due to staffing needs, you may be asked to work your scheduled shift at any of the four residential programs in Quincy, Weymouth, Hingham or Plymouth.

Qualifications/Credentials:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year experience working with adolescents is preferred (not required)
• Residential experience preferred
• Experience with systems (e.g. DMH, DCF) preferred
• Additional languages desirable, though not required
• Able to learn, carry out and be certified in CPI physical interventions, and de-escalation techniques
• Able to learn, carry out and be certified in CPR and first aid
