We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Master Scheduler to own the execution of production schedules on the shop floor across manufacturing, assembly and test operations. This role operates at the intersection of planning and execution translating demand into daily, actionable schedules and driving adherence in a fast-paced, constrained manufacturing environment.
This is not a purely planning role. This leader will work directly with operations, supply chain, and engineering to manage constraints, adjust schedules in real time, and ensure hardware is built and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Scope & Impact
· Manages operational schedule execution for both rate production programs as well as development/R&D programs.
· Translate demand into master production schedules and shop-floor plans in collaboration with organizational stakeholders, including manufacturing operations and production control analysts.
· Influence delivery performance, customer commitments, and operational readiness
· Indirectly leads schedulers or provides functional leadership across programs
· Drives risk mitigation for material, capacity, and schedule constraints
Core Responsibilities
· Build and manage daily and weekly shop-floor schedules for assembly and test
· Actively dispatch work orders and prioritize builds based on constraints
· Work directly with operations leaders to adjust schedules in real time
· Manage WIP flow, bottlenecks, and constraint-based sequencing
· Own schedule adherence and recovery execution, not just planning
· Identify and resolve material, capacity, and sequencing conflicts daily
Leadership Expectations
· Demonstrates leadership level ownership of outcomes, not just plans
· Communicate clearly with executive, program, and operational stakeholders
· Coach and develop talent; establish standard work and accountability
· Balance data-driven decision making with practical execution judgment
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, or related field
· 8+ years’ experience in manufacturing fulfillment, production planning, or scheduling
· Direct experience creating and managing production schedules in a manufacturing environment
· Experience working on or alongside the shop floor (assembly, machining, test, etc.)
· Proven track record of managing schedule adherence, constraints, and recovery in real time
· Experience in Aerospace & Defense, or Automotive manufacturing
· Hands-on experience supporting S&OP-driven planning
· Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
Preferred Qualifications:
· APICS CPIM or CSCP (or in progress)
· Experience with R&D, NPI, prototypes, or LRIP environments
· Background in regulated manufacturing (AS9100, ISO9001)

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $110,000-$143,000 base salary. Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
