INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY:

The Data Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data solutions, with an emphasis on Microsoft Azure pipelines. This role will develop robust data pipelines to produce enterprise-wide data assets to support data initiatives.

Salary range for this position is $119,078.7 - $139,216.74 with a progressive benefit package.



Responsibilities

Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change.
  1. Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in conducting GreenState's mission and vision.
  2. Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times.
  3. Demonstrates teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
  4. Ensures confidentiality of member information.
  5. Supports a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  6. Develops comprehensive data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Power BI and other tools
  7. Creates advanced data models and ETL processes across multiple enterprise systems
  8. Implements data governance and quality control mechanisms
  9. Designs and maintains complex data transformations using languages such as Python, Spark, SQL, M, DAX and more
  10. Develops, maintains and optimizes data solutions
  11. Collaborates with business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
  12. Performs advanced data cleansing and preparation techniques
  13. Supports performance optimization of business units’ solutions
  14. Strong attention to detail
  15. Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently
  16. Maintains excellent communication with the Credit Union team and the rest of the organization.
  17. Plays a vital role in enriching the community by participating in community service organizations and/or credit union sponsored events, on an annual basis.
  18. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
  2. 4 to 6 years of experience in data engineering and business intelligence
  3. Advanced proficiency in:
    • ETL processes, specifically in Azure cloud services
    • Power BI
    • Python
    • SQL
  4. Strong understanding of data modeling and warehouse design
  5. Experience with cloud data architectures
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  7. Financial services industry experience preferred
