JOB SUMMARY:

Provides strategy, support and direction to the BHS Social Workers/ Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors to participate in successfully meeting hospital and departmental goals of providing efficient, high quality care. Adapts the strategic plan to identify new risk, opportunities and resolutions, creates and implements utilization management and discharge planning policies that ensured best possible financial and clinical outcomes.Acts in a lead capacity or in complex situations , is responsible for direct and indirect social work services for patients, families and community members from adolescents to adults in the Carroll Hospital area.

REQUIREMENTS:

Master's degree required. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in social work required, hospital utilization management and/or discharge planning experience preferred. LCSW-C required.
