Staff Accountant II at MerrimackHealth – Lawrence, Massachusetts

At Merrimack Health, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The base salary range is $29.31 (Min) — $43.97 hourly (Max), excluding fringe benefits and potential bonuses.

Your final base salary will be determined based on your education, experience, licensure, and internal equity considerations. Offers are typically made below the top of the range to support future salary growth.

Performs bookkeeping and accounting duties and tasks for Merrimack Health and selected affiliated entities.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.S.) (preferably with concentration or degree in Accounting).
• Two years accounting or related experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills
• Ability to learn & master new software systems quickly
• Strong general computer skills, including the use of shortcuts
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Extremely strong attention to detail
• Must be extremely well organized and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously under occasional tight deadlines.
• Must have an “always willing to learn” mentality and have strong career ambitions.

Preferred:

• Healthcare industry accounting experience
