The AP/AR & Inventory Clerk supports day-to-day financial and operational transactions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining accurate inventory records across systems. This role provides essential support to the finance function as oogiebear continues to scale.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities
- Enter and reconcile vendor invoices; match to purchase orders and receipts.
- Prepare weekly payment batches and maintain vendor files.
- Generate customer invoices, post payments, and follow up on overdue balances.
- Reconcile Accounts Payable and Receivable aging reports and assist with month-end close.
- Support inventory reconciliation between warehouse systems (Cin7, Shopify) and accounting software (QuickBooks).
- Verify freight and shipping charges and ensure proper cost allocation.
- Assist with credit-card expense tracking and employee reimbursements.
- Provide general administrative support for financial reporting, audits, and tax preparation.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical records for compliance purposes.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years’ experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general bookkeeping.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks (or similar), Excel, and cloud-based accounting systems.
- Familiarity with Shopify, Cin7, or other inventory platforms preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a small, fast-moving environment.
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
