FT Painter at Bishop Gadsden Episcopal Retirement – Charleston, South Carolina

Bishop Gadsden, a premier continuing care retirement community, is seeking a skilled Painter to support the upkeep and appearance of our beautiful campus. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and enjoys working in a community-focused environment.

• Perform interior and exterior painting with a high standard of quality and efficiency
• Prepare surfaces through repair, removal, and finishing techniques
• Maintain painting supplies and meet project schedules
• Follow all safety, PPE, and HazMat procedures
• Communicate progress and completion of work with supervisors
• Apply various finishes and sheens correctly
• Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed
• Safely trap and neutralize wildlife when required

• Professional painting experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work (standing, climbing, bending, etc.)
