About This Position
NUTRITION SERVICES HOSTESS

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
-
Helps to assemble and deliver patient meals per patient and direct patient care staff requests. Effectively communicates with patients and staff. Maintains a safe, sanitary environment in accordance with Morris Hospital policy and IDPH regulations and other regulatory agency standards. Helps to assemble and deliver catered meals as assigned according to D-10 standards. Helps with various assigned departmental duties. Follows D-10 standards and philosophy.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional/Educational
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Current Food Service Sanitation Certificate or Illinois Food Handler Training Certificate. Or must obtain one of the previously listed within 30 days of date of hire.

Food Service experience and good customer service.

Personal

Must demonstrate high standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene.

Must demonstrate pleasant, outgoing personality and a commitment to quality.

Must demonstrate a willingness to work as a member of a team.

Must demonstrate good communication skills.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
