Hospice Account Executive

Location: North King County
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Compensation: $76,500 - $95,000/annually + Benefits

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Hospice Account Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and the families we serve. Your focus will be on building trusted partnerships, increasing awareness of our hospice services, and ensuring patients receive compassionate, timely end-of-life care.

Compensation

  • Base Salary $76,500 – $95,000 annually
  • Performance-Based Bonus: Eligible for bonus incentives tied to hospice admissions and referral growth

Pay Differentials: Compensation may vary based on factors such as years of healthcare or hospice experience, proven sales performance, and specialized expertise in hospice or home health sales. These pay differentials ensure employees are recognized and compensated for their unique qualifications and contributions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Generate appropriate patient referrals and admissions from assigned accounts.
  • Consistently grow referral and admission volumes by establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships with referral sources within the community.
  • Prioritize patient needs above all else, serving as the front line for Envision’s account care and patient satisfaction.
  • Balance the dual priorities of business growth and exceptional patient experience.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources including:
    • Physicians and physician clinics
    • Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs)
    • Assisted and Independent Living Facilities
    • Hospital personnel including case managers, discharge planners, and other referral sources
  • Maintain strong market awareness while promoting the company’s services and reputation as the optimal choice for hospice care within Envision’s service area.
  • Represent Envision Hospice and its services in a professional, knowledgeable, and responsive manner.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service while ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations and guidelines.
  • Participate in a weekend on-call rotation to coordinate and manage incoming weekend referrals and ensure timely response.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of healthcare experience and industry knowledge.
  • 2–5 years of recent medical sales experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience in Hospice or a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting preferred.
  • Proven track record of successful sales performance and building strong, results-driven customer relationships.
  • Ability to work independently, analyze available information, and make sound, informed decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain professional while managing mental and emotional demands.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively market services to referral sources, healthcare partners, and the community.
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance with accepted professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Flexible, cooperative, and adaptable in meeting evolving business needs.
  • Creative thinker who can develop innovative approaches to relationship building and business growth.
