Undergrad Research Assistant -Internal only at Villanova University – Villanova, Pennsylvania

Students will focus on biomaterial fabrication and characterization, cell culture, and in vitro testing. Students are expected to follow lab policies and protocols and serve as mentors for new undergraduate students joining the lab. Students will develop a research plan for the semester in coordination with Dr. Rodriguez Rivera. Students are expected to perform experiments, analyze data, contribute to peer-reviewed articles, and provide short weekly updates in a method agreed upon between the student and Dr. Rodriguez Rivera. At the end of the semester, they will prepare a poster presentation and present at Villanova University undergraduate symposium. Students may present their work at other conferences with Dr. Rodriguez Rivera’s approval.

Undergraduate researchers with two semesters of research experience in the lab are eligible for these positions.
