Duties and Responsibilities:

NDT Level 2 Inspector in Fluorescent Penetrant with 32 formal hours of training and a minimum of 400 hours experience time.

Must be familiar with industry and customer specifications and qualified to be certified as a Level 2 at this facility.

Opportunity to become a Level 3 with additional customer required certifications for Honeywell and Rolls-Royce.

Familiar with visual weld inspection with the ability to become certified under GE S-558. Having an AWS CWI is not a requirement, but potential candidates would be encouraged to pursue certification upon employment at Radius.

    Have the skills and knowledge to set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection and document results. Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique/method. Have the skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard. Be capable of providing the necessary guidance and/or supervision to trainees and Level 1 personnel. Be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the penetrant method. Have a basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology. Recall gages for periodic checks to verify continued precision and accuracy. Conduct continuous improvement activities. Perform product, process, and system audits with an emphasis on Nadcap requirements. Perform daily maintenance and minor machine repair. Work in conjunction with customer surveys and teams, as well as with vendors, sub-contractors and suppliers in audits and selling situations, projecting a positive company image. Assist Quality Manager during compliance audits. Perform all other functions as may be assignedMust be a US citizen

Education and Experience:

    High school diploma, GED certificate or equivalent education and experience Minimum of (5) years related experience preferred
