Dishwasher at Seasons Catering – Santa Barbara, California

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.

- Cleaning a large number of dishes from catered events and kitchen prep.

- Loading/unloading and storing deliveries and catering vans.

- Sweeping and mopping floors.

- Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.

- Commitment to all-around cleanliness, including dishwashing and dish storage areas.

- Willingness to follow sanitation and safety policies at all times.

- Basic janitorial skills to clean up spills, broken glassware, etc. immediately.

- Willingness to report any sanitation or janitorial issues to management.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Kitchen professionalism

- Possess a positive attitude

- Organized, fast, and efficient

- Able to read and communicate in English

- Familiar with general kitchen equipment and appliances

- Food Handler’s Certificate required

PHYSICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must be comfortable standing long hours and lifting up to 40 pounds as well as team lifting up to 60 pounds.

Experience: One-year minimum experience in a catering or restaurant environment
