Human Resources RepresentativeJob Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Representative to support daily HR operations, strengthen HRIS processes, deliver timely HR reporting, and contribute to long-term HR project initiatives. This entry-level role focuses on team support, data accuracy, system improvements, and coordination of department-wide projects. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and motivated to support a growing and evolving HR function.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeam & Operational Support
  • Provide daily support to HR team members across functional areas.
  • Assist with employee relations, performance management needs, and policy interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR files, employee data, and documentation.
  • Partner with the HR Assistant to ensure timely and accurate completion of routine HR tasks.
HRIS, Data Entry & Process Improvement
  • Enter and maintain employee information in ADP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process data for new hires, terminations, status changes, and benefits updates.
  • Support HRIS workflow improvements and assist in identifying opportunities to streamline processes.
  • Ensure data integrity across all HR systems and assist with troubleshooting ADP issues.
Reporting
  • Run and distribute routine HR reports for management and leadership.
  • Generate employee data reports upon request (turnover, headcount, demographics, etc.).
  • Assist in organizing and preparing data for audits, compliance reporting, and external requests.
Project Coordination & Long-Term Initiatives
  • Support benefit carrier integration projects with ADP by tracking progress, coordinating timelines, following up with stakeholders, and ensuring successful implementation.
  • Collaborate with management to review, revise, and maintain accurate job descriptions.
  • Contribute to broader HR initiatives, including policy updates, compliance projects, and HR technology enhancements.
  • Prepare project documentation, maintain project trackers, and support communication across teams.
Cross-Training & Collaborative Support
  • Cross-train in key HR functions such as payroll support and basic recruitment processes (excluding onboarding administration).
  • Provide backup support for payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Assist HR team members during high-volume periods or coverage needs.
Other Job Functions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Human Resources certification preferred (aPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent).
  • 1–3 years of HR experience; HRIS or data-focused experience is a strong plus.
  • Must have experience using ADP.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, reporting, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work professionally with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience running or preparing HR reports is a plus.
