About This Position

Description:

We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our growing Pharmacy

Customer Relations Team. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Account Executive will focus

on maintaining and expanding business within a defined geographic region, with an emphasis on increasing

sales and building relationships with healthcare professionals.

Job Summary:

The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong

relationships with existing clients. This role requires a highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record

in pharmacy, pharmaceutical, or medical device sales. The ideal candidate will possess excellent

communication skills, be well-organized, and demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic

environment.

Requirements:
  • Identify and target potential prescribers, including physicians, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities, to expand pharmacy business.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Take full ownership and accountability for achieving company goals in the assigned region.
  • Educate healthcare providers and office staff on the benefits of our Services, ensuring they align with provider needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and customer retention.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow new business while maintaining the existing customer base.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Provide regular business forecasts and updates on sales activities.
  • Attend in-person team meetings.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical sales with a proven record of success.
  • Experience in Pharmacy Services sales is preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and execute sales campaigns and promotional events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time, including occasional overnight stays.
