About the Role:

The Welder / Fabricator plays a critical role in the Steel, manufacturing and construction industries by creating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting appropriate materials, cutting, shaping, and joining metal parts using various welding techniques. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a welder and fabricator in a professional setting. 7+ years preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS Certified Welder) or equivalent recognized credential.
• Ability to operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with multiple welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Familiarity with metal fabrication software and CNC machinery.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding and fabrication requirements.
• Cut, shape, and assemble metal components using welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, and arc welders.

• Maintain and operate fabrication tools and machinery, ensuring they are in good working condition.
