IT Support Technician / Help Desk (Customer-Focused)

Pay: $22–$28/hour (based on experience)

Position Summary:
This role is ideal for someone with IT help desk experience who enjoys troubleshooting, supporting users, and resolving technical issues quickly. You will act as the primary point of contact for IT support, assisting employees with hardware, software, and system-related needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Help Desk & Customer Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support tickets and user issues
- Provide fast, professional, and friendly technical support to employees
- Translate technical issues into simple, easy-to-understand solutions
- Support both field employees and office staff
Technical Troubleshooting
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and mobile devices
- Repair or replace damaged equipment
- Escalate complex issues while maintaining ownership of resolution
Systems & Maintenance
- Install and update operating systems, software, and antivirus programs
- Perform system upgrades, testing, and performance checks
- Assist with data backups and system security
- Ensure systems meet safety and compliance standards
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Track and document support requests and resolutions
- Maintain IT documentation and assist in improving internal processes
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in IT/Computer Science preferred)
- 2+ years of IT support, help desk, or desktop support experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows systems, hardware troubleshooting, and basic networking
- Experience with software installation, system upgrades, and user support
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Linux+, or CCNA are a plus
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems efficiently
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 50% (job sites and office locations)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Valid driver’s license required.
