Team Member-Restaurant at Southern Pines Peach Cobbler Factory – Southern Pines, North Carolina

Our team members – or “Cobbleristas” – are the heart of the experience, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and every dessert is served just right. As a Team Member at Peach Cobbler Factory of Southern Pines, you’ll provide friendly, fast, and accurate service while preparing and serving desserts to guests. You'll assist with food prep, store cleanliness, and POS operation while contributing to a positive team environment and great customer experience.

Duties

• Greet every guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and energy
• Take and prepare orders accurately using the POS system
• Recommend desserts, explain flavors, and offer samples when appropriate
• Ensure every guest leaves happy, with their order correct and presented well
• Prepare cobblers, puddings, and other menu items according to brand standards
• Assemble dessert flights, toppings and other menu items with attention to portion and presentation
• Maintain high standards for food safety and cleanliness at all times
• Keep the dining and prep areas clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Perform cleaning tasks including sanitizing equipment, mopping, dishwashing, etc.
• Follow all local health department and company sanitation guidelines
• Support your coworkers during peak hours and communicate clearly with your team
• Take direction from Shift Leads and Managers with a positive attitude
• Help with opening or closing duties, restocking supplies, and basic prep wo

Skills

• Must be at least 16 years old (18+ preferred for full equipment access)
• Prior food service or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
• Friendly, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks
• Punctual, dependable, and a strong team player
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Effective oral communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to build relationships
• Willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
