Citizens Memorial Hospital Foundation (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Domestic Care Tech (DCT) to provide exceptional care for our residents in Colonial Springs Long Term Care in Buffalo, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the area: Colonial Springs Healthcare Center is located in beautiful Buffalo, Missouri. Buffalo has multiple outdoor experiences such as hiking, camping, fishing, and canoeing. About the department: Colonial Springs Healthcare Center is a 134- bed long term care, skilled nursing center. It includes a 34- bed memory care unit, as well as a 16-bed high functioning memory care unit. These units meet the specific needs of individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.

A typical day includes: A typical day will include knowing and applying current nursing theory, principles of treatment, and nursing procedures in the care of residents.

• Prepares residents for meals, serves, and collects food trays and nourishment, and document intakes.
• Serves and collects food trays and nourishments.
• Stocks linen in rooms from linen closets.

Job Requirements:

• Education: HS diploma
• Experience: None! This is the perfect job for a high
• Skills: Good Communication Skills, Patience, Attention to detail, Flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills.
• Licensure/Certification: N/A
• Physical: ability to work at a fast pace with about 90% of the day consists of walking.

The position is Per Requested Need (PRN).
