Licensed Practical Nurse, full-time at UVA Imaging - Charlottesville, VA – Charlottesville, Virginia

UVA Imaging is growing and expanding into evening and weekend hours, and we’re looking for an LPN to join our team.

In this role, you’ll prepare CT and MRI patients for their exams by completing screenings, assisting with patient readiness, obtaining IV access, and providing post-exam care as needed.

Position Status: full-time

Location: outpatient imaging centers in Charlottesville, VA

EDUCATION:

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN program.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to work independently and multitask under the direction of a RN or licensed independent practitioner.
• Ability to manage medical emergencies and/or contrast reactions under the direction of a licensed independent practitioner.
• Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely.
