Account Manager at MGIS – Salt Lake City, Utah

Account Managers at MGIS play a vital role in supporting our clients—healthcare professionals and the brokers who serve them—with their disability and group benefit plans. This is not a call center role. It’s a dynamic, client-facing position ideal for someone who excels at managing complex service needs and values building strong, consultative relationships.

In this role, you’ll:

• Oversee the enrollment, renewal, and ongoing service for group disability insurance and ancillary benefit plans
• Serve as the primary contact for HR directors, benefits administrators, and broker partners
• Deliver knowledgeable, white-glove service to clients who expect expertise and responsiveness
• Guide clients through plan changes, eligibility updates, billing inquiries, and coverage questions
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a seamless customer experience

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in group benefits, account management, or a related client service role
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and broker partners
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-up skills
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience working with brokers or in a healthcare-related benefits environment is a plus, but we will also train you.
