About the role

As a Clinical Therapist, you’ll provide therapy services that foster healing and long-term recovery. You’ll guide clients through intake, treatment planning, crisis support, and ongoing therapy, ensuring every step aligns with our values of compassion and quality care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with the client and their natural supports to develop and implement an effective service plan, takes time to explain the available clinical options to the client and their natural supports and identifies the advantages and disadvantages of the options
  • Provides clinically appropriate psychotherapy services in accordance with applicable ethical code(s), rules, and regulations
  • Serves as the point of contact for coordination and communication with other systems where clinical knowledge of the case is crucial
  • Assists in screening and coordinating integrated services for clients
  • Continuously evaluates the effectiveness of treatment through the ongoing assessment of the client and their natural supports that may result in a modification to the service plan, as necessary
  • Ensures coordination of care out of the area, out of the state or out of the Arizona system prior to discontinuation of services
  • Maintains a thorough and comprehensive client record
  • Participates in individual and group supervision that meet the standards set by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, and in accordance with organizational policy
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Social Work.
  • Active Arizona Associate License, Independent License preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a team-based, client-centered environment.

    Integrates trauma-informed principles into assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions to support client safety and recovery.
  • Clinical Assessment and Treatment Planning
    Demonstrates competency in evaluating client needs using evidence-based tools and developing individualized treatment plans.
  • Clinical Documentation and Regulatory Compliance
    Maintains timely and compliant documentation that meets licensing, Joint Commission, and payer requirements.
  • Professional Ethics and Clinical Judgment
    Applies ethical decision-making, maintains professional boundaries, and adheres to licensing standards and scope of practice.
