  • Provide technical oversight and sign/seal survey deliverables, including plats, easements, exhibits, and ROW documents, as required
  • Ensure compliance with utility standards, safety requirements, regulatory guidelines, and company quality standards
  • Serve as the primary client contact for electric utilities, power providers, engineers, and contractors
  • Support business development efforts and growth of power and transmission survey services
  • Mentor and develop staff and represent SAM at client meetings and industry events

  • Qualifications
    • Previous industry-related experience in a professional or project management capacity, with a strong preference for power, electric, transmission, or utility infrastructure projects
    • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Engineering, Geomatics, or a related discipline and/or equivalent experience
    • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale or multi-phase survey projects, particularly utility or energy-related work
    • Strong proficiency with or working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, GeoPak, and MS Office Suite
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly define assignments and deliverables
    • Proven ability to oversee, mentor, and motivate field and office project teams
