HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?

As a Maintenance Technician, you will support the safe, functional, and well-maintained operation of residential properties. Your work ensures our communities remain safe, comfortable, and welcoming for residents.

In this role, you will perform a wide range of maintenance, repair, and turnover activities while helping preserve property quality, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

WHO YOU ARE?

You are hands-on, dependable, and solutions-oriented. You take pride in keeping things running smoothly and enjoy tackling a variety of maintenance tasks each day.

You work well independently but know when to escalate complex repairs or emergencies to supervisors. You value professionalism, strong communication, and providing excellent service to residents and coworkers.

You also bring:

  • A strong sense of responsibility for safety and quality
  • The ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues across multiple trades
  • A customer-service mindset when interacting with residents and colleagues
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing operational needs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES Education / Background
  • High school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of verifiable experience in apartment or general maintenance

OR

  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and 4+ years of direct maintenance experience
  • Demonstrated experience across multiple maintenance areas including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools associated with construction, maintenance, and landscaping
  • HVAC certification preferred
