About This Position
Responsible for coordinating compensation processes to support organizational pay practices and compliance. Administers salary structures, job evaluations, and compensation programs. Ensures accuracy of compensation data, reporting, and documentation in alignment with policies and regulations. Prepares data and documentation. Coordinates collaboration with HR, payroll, and business leaders to deliver timely and effective compensation services.
Essential Functions:
- Administers compensation data in HRIS systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Prepares and maintains job documentation and compensation data needed for job evaluations, salary surveys, and benchmarking activities.
- Prepares compensation reports to inform HR and leadership on pay trends and equity.
- Coordinates annual merit, incentive, and pay adjustment processes, ensuring timely execution.
- Reviews compensation requests and ensures alignment with organizational guidelines and pay policies.
- Supports compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, including FLSA requirements.
- Collaborates with HR and payroll teams to resolve compensation-related issues and discrepancies.
- Provides guidance to managers and employees on compensation policies and procedures.
- Assists in maintaining compensation documentation, workflows, and process guides.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or a related field
Experience Requirement:
2+ years of experience in compensation administration, HR operations, or related HR support role
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
Certifications & Licensures:
Workday Compensation certification, SHRM-CP, PHR, or CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) preferred
