Details:

Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
-
Full-time, 40 hours per week
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for performing and/or processing EKGs, management of outpatient cardiac monitors and assisting with non-licensed functions of the cardiopulmonary department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Graduated from High School or GED equivalent.
-
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
-
Two years of college with a science emphasis, or the successful completion of on-the-job training under the supervision of an EKG Technologist preferred.

Current CPR card or completion within 30 days of employment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking, standing, and dealing with stressful situations.
-
Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to read and write. Color vision is required.
-
Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the phone.
-
Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care.
-
Able to frequently lift at least 60 pounds, reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.
-
Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care.
